Ooow, you were expected something really personal, huh! .... sorry to disappoint you, but there's only stuff on my persona here, like my names and my character
...... Oh, and I've also sold out with sucky Webpage no-no's, like "where I live" and "where I work"!
You've no doubt noticed, that I have two names: the formal John, given to me by my Mum and Dad and my nickname "Nobby", first given to me by a teacher at Junior school! (and shared with my Dad). Maybe you're wondering where such a nickname would come from? ........ well I'm gonna tell you anyway.
"Nobby" actually always goes with the surname "Clark" and the connection goes something like this:
Oh man, explaining this could be quite a tall order !!! ........ I'm a bit complex and often find myself seeing things from different points of view! Sounds pretty wacky, right - but then maybe ones's just a "John point of view" and the other a "Nobby point of view". Anyway, between black and white there is a whole lot of grey ....... so hopefully this means I'm a balanced character!!
This kind of Ying/Yang type of situation is pretty much reflected in my interests, my musical tastes and even my work role, which is both technical and commercial ........ but hey, it works for me! You'll notice too that in my favourite 'interest' in life, cars, I'm sort of part mechanic and part driver.
It's not uncommon to find me working on engine parts one minute
and designing
something graphic and colourful the next ....... So, maybe I'm
practical, or maybe I'm artistic?? I have been known
to draw
and paint in the past! ...... click the images on the left

Recently my artistic side was brought forth once again and pen was
put to
paper in my first foray into poetry - click the image for

My outlook on life is, maybe not surprisingly, a combination of the
scientific and the spiritual. As for any further
insight into
the mind of John/Nobby Clark (wow - a scary concept!),
I've again
got two ideas (spooky or what!):

After
seeing my Passport on my HomePage, it's obviously going to come as
no surprise
that I'm English. I actually live in the
UK, in Yiewsley,
Middlesex, near London (Heathrow) airport.
This is roughly
at the 9 o'clock position on the M25, the circular
motorway around
London. I often go shopping etc. in Uxbridge,
Hayes,
Slough and Windsor ........ so things are all nice
and local for
me. There's even a local bus service, that runs from Heathrow
right to my
garden gate, which is really handy when I fly around Europe on
business ........
it's almost like having your own airport in your backyard!
